The 2024 Sitecore Symposium, held in Nashville, showcased Sitecore’s latest developments, particularly in AI-driven solutions, data privacy, and partnerships. This year’s event revolved around the theme “Power to Build,” emphasizing personalized digital experiences with the help of AI while providing marketers with privacy-conscious tools.

A major highlight was Sitecore Stream, an AI-powered brand assistant that integrates across Sitecore’s digital experience platforms. Sitecore Stream includes features such as brand-aware AI, generative copilots, and AI-enhanced workflows, designed to assist marketers in creating campaigns that align with brand identity and reduce waste on misdirected efforts. Nestlé’s demo illustrated how Stream’s AI could help companies maintain brand alignment across digital assets by automating parts of content creation and campaign management without compromising privacy.

Privacy was a priority, with Sitecore ensuring data isolation, meaning client data would not train external models, allowing brands to retain control over their proprietary information. For companies focused on translations, AI tools like Sitecore’s generative AI were highlighted, enabling rapid translation of multilingual content and easing global content distribution.

The Partner Pavilion included notable contributions from partners like Verndale, Horizontal Digital, and XCentium. Verndale’s booth focused on their XM Cloud Accelerator, which helps clients rapidly deploy on Sitecore XM Cloud, while Horizontal Digital shared insights on using Microsoft Copilot and Fabric to analyze Sitecore CDP data for actionable insights. XCentium and others discussed the benefits of personalization tools, including strategies to optimize user journeys across digital channels.

Overall, the Symposium reinforced Sitecore’s commitment to innovation through privacy-conscious AI and collaborations with partners to expand capabilities in personalization and real-time content delivery.
